i'm super late to this video but not to the issue, and honestly what baffles me is the second reddit post at 9:37. i mean the first one is also terrible, like seriously you're just a two-year-old mashing words onto a keyboard you're not a god. calm down light yagami. anyway, about the second post. this user talks about how the fashion industry is going to be replaced, then the rest of the world etc. what bothers me is- is that really a world you *want* to live in? really? something that is chewed up and then spat out? something that doesn't have any effort or time or human expression to begin with? i think what people don't understand is that art isn't a commodity. it's not a product. sure, we as artists have taken to selling our work to put food on our tables, but that doesn't make it something you can just make mass amounts of for cheaper. every single piece of art, whether it's by da Vinci himself or some kid on DeviantArt, has a piece of someone's soul in it. ai art has nothing.
