The thing is fromtend/backend jobs will be dead soon. For a few years, millions of people will create zillions of machine learning models. Exhausting the ones which are easy to make, destroying the need to make more in the process. More research would be required, however the ratio of people in research to people in tech is less. This in turn will lead to "current" technology running on 99% efficiency. Not much more to be done. What to do, what to do???. In the end people in tech will have to be forced to me either choose unemployment or research.
