Gotta love an anti-corporate vid with 4 ad breaks in the middle. And personally I do not see how "regulating" VI services will make _anything_ better for _anyone_ other than the corporations. Besides - it IS possible to train VI without using existing artworks. In fact, _humans_ also learned to make art without existing art. Observing the world and making an imaginative effort to reproduce it is quite enough - and why don't we build VI on these same principles?.. Oh but I'll tell you why. Because the VI corporations don't care about _creating art._ They care about _selling subscriptions_ and using buzzwords - which is why they call their VI "AI" and expect us to buy it. Literally and figuratively. I think going after the prompters is entirely misguided. They're the ones in a wheelchair - not a literal one as you chose to interpret it - but a figurative one, where the disability is the inability to make art, and the VI is the crutch of choice. Most of these people DO NOT have the skill do develop their own VI systems. So they use what is given. It is easy pickings to punch down on them for 25 minutes of easy content. But they are trapped in the very same system - the _system_ that took artists' jobs, the _system_ that perpetuates the same approach to VI development, the _system_ that puts the value of profit higher than the value of art.
