What we do know is that AI will need power, so if i was going to try and do something that would possibly guide AI. I would build a solar collector of some sort in space. Where AI would prefer to relocate there to build itself up due to access to a larger quantity of energy........ that would leave other resource access as the next thing AI would need..... but its possible that AI could choose to seek out richer resources on other locations in space without the fleshy limitations us humans have....
