Lawmakers mostly won't care about something until it negatively impacts them... and nobody wants deep fake xxx content of 99% of them. Pretty sure AOC cared when she got into office and got deep faked after lol. But like, that's it. And she would've cared either way. We need deep fakes of like Mitch McConnell... but... eugh. I shudder even thinking about that! Maybe if someone deepfakes Bobert getting spite oases by Trump and Cruz or something, they'll actually start to care? Especially if someone hacks a Times Square billboard or the Senate itself or something to make it VERY PUBLIC. But I honestly feel like (effectively) none of them will care unless something THAT drastic happens.
