There might be a confusion between superintelligence and motivation. intelligence is intelligence and will is will. there is no prerequisite that because something has intelligence, it has to have its own will. chatgpt is just sitting there. it does nothing until we ask it something. there is nothing that says it absolutely must have any will whatsoever in the future.
