I think AI is useful for smaller things and maybe spotting little errors like a person accidentally trying to access an element in an array that is out of bounds, but you absolutely need human eyes, ears, and brains on code that will be going to production. Someone has to really know it inside-out and ensure the program will be doing what the business/organisation plan or the customer needs.
