Okay possible hot take
AI isn't ALWAYS bad. There ARE legitimate use cases. Like, XVASynth is a godsend for modders. It doesn't beat having actual voice actors but it's better than nothing if that isn't in the cards for your mods.
Which, reminder, most mods aren't from big teams. They're from one guy or maybe a few guys, likely done for free. Getting a real voice actor is a luxury for most modders.
Having said that, AI art tends to be a different matter, but it's worth not falling for blind hatred, as that's how AI bros win in the end.
