If you ask an AI to make art, the result is still undoubtedly art.
Edit - thought it was by recognizing patterns, not splicing.
But the simple truth is that you are not the artist.
You asked something else to make art for you. That's called a commission. I could hit up one of my half dozen artist friends and do the same thing. Send prompt, get result. You "Ai Artists" are not even artists by definition. If i order mcdonalds, would that make me a chef?
