I know it might sound lame, but if we all write to our congressmen that the path to General Artificial Intelligence has to be controlled/managed/constrained... it might at least delay our self-destruction. If we're lucky during the delay enough of us will understand the suicidal trajectory... and maybe figure out we have to stop before we kill ourselves. So call-to-action- contact you congressmen. Express concern. Our collective voice still matters to them, but only if the volume is big.
