Look, im someone who is pro-ai, but the whole 'image scraping' thing feels like absolute BS.
I used to be a fan of Open AI back when they first started showing off demos of their various ai's, but this whole situation has made me absolutely despise them, its honestly just pathetic.
Im saying this as someone who does casually use ai image generators, i dont have the art skills to pen down my characters, and i lack the time or money to hire someone else to do it, not to mention the struggle of actually trying to communicate the design.
They should just have groups of artists that they hire to mass produce training data for them, or otherwise ask people for permission.
