AI is modelled on efficiency. It's not modelled on ethics or morals. It's like the machine that gives a £200 fine to a car driving 2 miles over the limit on a dual carriageway at 2am in the morning when there is no other traffic. A human would call that. They would see the damage that that could do to someone's finances and have mercy. They might understand that there was a problem which meant the human was driving a fraction over the limit. They might also think that the fine is excessive in this situation. They would not simply apply the rule. AI simply applies the rule. One day we will not be able to question AI.
