This clown is doing a disservice to humanity by spreading all this doom and gloom. Hopefully smart, young, intelligent researchers of today that actually solve real world problems in AI can thwart the negative propaganda that these ancient dinosaurs who did nothing but theorize for decades are spreading. AI is the greatest tool humanity has ever built and can solve the biggest issues that we face as a species. People did the same thing when the printing press was invented. They thought it was evil and would change society in irreparable ways. We now correctly understand that it was a good invention that led to 87% world literacy and vastly increased the rate of progress with so much of the global population able to read and learn and contribute to society. Yes, of course exercise caution with any new powerful tool but to be so ignorant to think that you can or even should try and stop progress is a joke.
