Pure stupidity, many are getting fired because AI advancement is not as advanced as you think they are, ai advancing faster is pure science-fiction, you guys watch too much movies. Many companies who thought AI will reduce cost by a lot are suffering right now because of it, so many errors and stupid answers, cannot perform what is expected of it even at this stage, human workers are still the best, mundane, simple and repetitive is the only place ai can be used.
