So as a slightly different perspective....I want to have my job taken by a machine....I want everyones jobs taken by machines. I want humans to be able to enjoy life, not work through it.
But that won't come from automating jobs, unless countries are more willing to embrace the fact that we have to create a society that works for everyone regardless of employment status. Stop using a job as the means to determine peoples worth to society, and start letting people actually enjoy their lives
