I paint traditionally too, and I can recognize real paintings easily, or so i thought...
I bought a tiny 10x10cm canvas painting of two children hugging. The man said it was painted by his wife. It even had texture. When i got home and inspected it more clearly it was a PRINT (probably AI generated) with dashes of paint added here and there to fool the eye.
