I honestly have been hearing the AI bubble talk since last 3 years every single year people talk about this and yet more and more money is being spend on data centers and compute. We have some of the smartest people in the world working on AI , so even if it is a bubble, it will only keep getting better. After looking at some old videos from the 90s about the internet, it dawned on me that a lot of us missed the rise of the internet, and the money we coudl have made from the internet , and computers themselves. AI could go through the same thing. And history usually will not repeat itself , as markets are just weird.
Everything was super cheap in the market in April this year when everything pretty much collapsed due to tariff fear. Things rose back again since there were better earnings and larger orders. People are worried about the bubble but at the same time oklo being at 120 means people are actually trusting Sam's judgment.
AI can become better even now , but it woud just take some ways to get around the current problems without making an actual intelligence that can think. Giving AI agency is a bit risky , and scary.
