I think you absolutely can create art like this, but not with midjourney or other closed source AI. You need to have skill with comfy ui, and use a model trained on stable diffusion. These tools now have thousands of custom made modules that let you compose the art directly, including the regions on the canvas, the layers, the colors and temperature, and much more. A random “prompter” will struggle to create anything impressive, but an artist with an eye for composition and the patience to learn a new tool can absolutely leverage this the same way as Photoshop and other digital tools.
