I found this on my feed and was surprised at how well the content is communicated. I am from the generative AI domain on a mathematical side, and most details are conveyed in the most digestible format I've seen. From the history of GANs to energy-based approaches. This video even sheds light on other applications of AI, prior to the advent of the generative AI boom in the healthcare sector and natural language processing. Love how thorough the video is, even covering the difficulty of how difficult it is to gather high quality data, how CLIP works, and presenting latent spaces. Everything in this video is very objective, backed by arXiv papers (which is remarkable due diligence). Covering ecosystems like CivitAI is also quite something, the video barely missed anything. I appreciate that there is no animosity towards the field at all. The practices at how data was acquired are unacceptable, but this video hardly seems to want convince anyone of anything. Purely informative content. TL;DR Amazing video with thorough research. Surprised this isn't more prevalent / got more views. Highly recommend sharing it
