I am an artist and I am here to stand up for AI. Yes, you read that right. I'm here to speak in AI defense. First of all, what people don't understand, AI is Generative, not Repetitive tool. What does that mean? It doesn't devour all artworks it sees all over the internet and then cut their pieces to create a new picture. What AI is doing - taking a walk through the gallery of works, proposed and approved by engineers. It is to be called 'training'. While doing that AI learns patterns. It's no difference from artists analyzing works of other artists to learn from them. As many are trying to copy 'Arcane' style or draw with Chinese artists to learn how they draw details without drawing details, for example. Or how you learned from Da Vinci, the Vitruvian Man - how to take form from void with lines alone. Making it Repetitive would mean: 1. C++ wouldn't make it and AI would fail creating an image by your request. 2. It would be too energy consuming. Data-centers already spent 160% more electricity on AI then they did before its existence. So no, people, don't flatter yourself. Your works must be good enough to be remembered and be considered as such anybody can learn from them first. Unique style? Never vanished. AI tells me 'Your stories are so vivid, it would be a crime not to see them bloom in your own lines. It's all about sincerity because no one else can see your worlds with your own eyes'. And if anyone believes they can say 'AI, draw me this' and they will got a candy they are wrong. There are no shortcuts. If you want to draw anything good using AI you must know how posture speaks, directions, light, colors, how environment works as character itself, how to represent character visually with details. So quit crying over AI, learn how it works first. You must invest a lot of time and efforts to get what you need and not some sh*t.
