"committing theft" lol. For me personally, this is the funniest part, because 90% of artists who are outraged by this will NEVER in their lives draw good enough to have their work used to train AI. They are not outraged that the AI learns from other people's work (as if they themselves received a revelation from god directly, and didn't copy old arts), but that it does it faster and does not look for excuses, such as bad mood or the moon is not in mercury and other bullshit. And this outrage didn't just appear out of nowhere with generative AI, these so-called artists are ALWAYS trying to blame something for their laziness, like unfair algorithms or, if anyone still remembers, bigger artists who have the audacity to draw good arts and not charge millions of dollars for it, taking away clients from other artists, lol. Moreover, if you open the profile of such an "outraged artist", you'll most likely first see a pinned tweet with prices and examples of arts with errors even in basic anatomy, not to mention light and shadows.
