Simple solution: return the gains in efficiency and cost savings to the humans in an equitable manner. I see this a major positive for society releasing us from our current slave status spending a half of our waking lives just to collect the resources to survive. The alternative would not be great for whoever is hoarding the wealth generated by the AI and the Artificial Labor force.
