I mean we do need some sort of copyright protection for ai art. For example if ai is used to create a logo for a company does that mean you can't own your logo. How much altering needs to be done in photoshop before it could be considered copyright-able. If I start with a blank canvas in photoshop I can then copyright my art. Why are we able to copyright our photos, it is just pushing a button on a machine. If I redraw ai art from looking at it is it then copyright-able. I would say we are reaching a point where you can't tell if art was produced using ai. If you then need to ask which art was created using ai so you can decide which art you like the most then doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose of art. Everyone excepts that Warhol put old food in a box and called it art. This doesn’t mean you have to like them. The art moniker doesn’t necessarily imply that the object in question is enjoyable or even good. So why would it not be art to push enter over and over again until you decide what you see is "art".
