Fun fact: the removal of watermarks for malicious intent is actually illegal Reupload of said picture without its watermark is full on copyright infringement and can lead to DMCA requests, account bans and terminations, and then actual law suits And the fact you even uploaded it grants you basic copyright protection over it, as you created it, obviously So basically: people online getting mad for watermarking, proceeding to remove said watermark, and casually committing copyright infringement, same thing when you reupload someone else’s content that they ever so politely asked you to take down, which you literally ignored, and also feeding it into AI just digs your own legal grave even deeper Lesson?: stop getting mad at watermarks and removing them, thats just a reason for you to get thrown into a court room later on Eitherway even if you dont get sued, the site/app will get mad at you for it anyway and ban you for being an idiot and repeatedly trying to reupload something the site ITSELF has removed and warned your account about And you get a one way ticket to R/OhNoConsequences
