okay so there was this meeting at my workplace where a company was trying to convince a bunce of tech people how their system ai would be useful, right? One of their examples were: "imagine you were looking for the shortest lines at a concession stand in between matches (idk some sport). Now imagine ai could help you find the shortest lines and get you back to the game more efficiently." ...Like I was so baffled and I genuinely had to take a break because 1) as a staff of the venue i cant yk laugh at them outright, and 2) how lazy do you have to be to rely on ai for something this mundane? how disassociated and online do you have to be to be so disconnected to the present that you cant tell what the shortest lines is for yourself in real time? And also not to mention if multiple people use ai and ai gives them the same answer...guess which line is no longer the shortest? They gave more equally ridiculous examples but this stuck out to me so clearly because of how lazy and ill-thought it was...as if AI had come up with the example themselves. Anyway the other examples I remember include coming up with a recipe for something (which halfway worked...the list of ingredients were decent and commonly used enough but the measurements were skewed...so it wouldve been faster for a human to come up with said recipe). Sorry about the rant lol, I love your videos, especially this one because with all the bs (the ai studio ghibli trend for example), its nice to know that some people are still making sense and value human effort and results over computer-generated ones.
