I genuinely don’t get why people try to use AI instead of doing it themselves. Look at how good some kid’s/teens art is when they’ve only been doing it for a couple years. So many talented young artists and if you actually enjoyed creating and drawing you’d pick up a pen and be one of them. They want the instant gratification they want the reward without actually doing any of the work. It’s not as hard as people think it is, people are just lazy and sadly don’t believe in themselves. Art isn’t my main thing that I do, I mostly make music that’s my thing. But my art is still something I have fun with and am proud of. It really scares me to think people like me might not be able to find entry level jobs in creative fields we like because companies would rather steal our work and use AI to generate images than pay us… we are already seeing AI used so much in advertising, like the “mental health ads” with AI generated music, and likely images as well. So dystopian :(
