10:14 it's not "spending hours of our life". The practice is nearly the whole point. Yes, this is a "somethingsomething is the friends we made along the way" situation. Society is just way too hyperfocused on results, results, results. Everything has to be optimized down to miliseconds. What are these mysterious activities you need to save so much time for that you want to cut corners on a hobby?
