There's a difference between inspiration and using someones work. All ai artbis doing is merging work from artists with no credit to the original creators. The artists who put hours of time and skill into a piece just to have bits of it merged with others without changes to the pieces or credit is the problem. I spent 10+ years learning and drawing endlessly for days just for people with no skills or effort to just type in a few words and an ai regurgitates preexisting works mashed together. Am I just supposed to quit art after spending hundreds of dollars and spending hours I'll never get back? I'll never be able to compete with something that spits creations out in seconds compared to the hours it takes for me.
