What if AI becomes a benevolent force for improving the human condition. Just about everybody is scared about the future. Perhaps AI will convince itself that ending wars, poverty, violence is its most noble purpose? I've been hearing doomsday stories about this and that all my life. None of it has really become true. I am skeptical that AI will be humanity's downfall.
