Okay dude but the argument isn’t that you were born good - you were born with an ability to become good. Being an artist really is a gift and talent and it’s stupid to hear everyone deny it. Yes, a lot of work and experience went to it, but there’s hundreds of people you don’t even want to be aware of that simply cannot become better - I’ve been drawing for years and just am not able to improve in any capacity - I still do it cause I like it but I’ll never be a true artist because I wasn’t born with the skill set and drive to morph into one. Ai art sucks, but the only people who care about it are ones who already can draw and have been doing that for a while. I’m afraid it will be normalized in the future. Get it into your thick skulls, not everyone was born to do art and many people still yearn for it. While ai art is not the solution and not okay, I see why someone would think that it can remedy their issues - you can’t tell everyone that they have what it takes and they’ll do great because we simply will not. To show a beginner art and say ‘ooh look how much better I’ve got’ doesn’t mean a damn because it’s your process - my beginner drawings look bad, my current ones look pathetic and it’s been like a decade. It’s fine to encourage people and discourage ai but get it into your heads Not Everyone Is Like You It’s that simple It’s not possible And it’s fine for people to feel bad for it because it sucks and I don’t think y’all know how this feels And ai art sucks and I hope it dies alongside with my dreams lmao I get that, I feel your pain that you cannot become what you’ve dreamt to be, I get that you want what you think is beautiful inside your head to become real so that you can share it with others - but ai takes all of that away, don’t do it
