Its a mind set, we humans are programmed from birth to work but eventually you come to the end of your working life and retire. Perhaps we need to retrain our mindset to understand you can work but will receive a basic income the amount being removed from your salary so you can have more money or stay 'retired' and pursue other interests such as travel, gardening, charity work etc. We've had experience of this already in the UK during Covid we got paid to stay at home, some did abuse the system quite badly but overall we managed to live through it, in fact lots of older workers realised by getting rid of rented cars etc they could retire early !. Tax on businesses could be as now, Corporation tax but paid on a monthly basis to cover the cost of the humans they have put out of work. The rich can still have their piles of money and 'things' to sit on but their businesses will be assessed and taxed on the amount of people who could have worked there if things were not automated. Once we have super intelligent AI you will discover there will be less and less humans, we will naturally fade away as a superior Alien being which we (apparently) invited in will take over. I guess it will see us like Ants with itself as a Giant Redwood Tree, not worth bothering with.
