I am just as cautious, if not more so, when using self-driving technology as I am when driving manually. My life depends on it. If there's an obstacle, you should brake, no matter what technology is in control. The name is FSD: Full Self Driving" Supervised". You need to be alert at all times, Tesla is adamant about that. If you look away too much, you are literally locked out of the technology. You're driving at high speed, never be complacent.
