One thing humans have against AI is energy efficiency. Solving problems takes orders of magnitude more energy for AI than biological life. I am sure this will be reduced significantly, but due to the nature of the different physical mechanisms of machine vs biological life it's hard to imagine them catching up. The extra speed of computation that machines have has a physical energy cost. Translating a sentence from a language to another today takes about a million times more energy for AI than it does for a human.
