Living near Boulder/Denver, I see A LOT of Teslas on the road...... And based on personal experience, I do my best to avoid them. On numerous occasions, where I was moving with flow of traffic, out of blind spots, and if we were stopped, where I would be, I could open the driver's door and slap them upside the head, I had them begin to merge into my lane with little to no indication automatically. Hell, one time, I was able to actually view the infotainment on one in traffic, and it didn't even detect that I was sitting stopped next to it.
And what's even worse, I had a Tesla try to drive itself off the road because of its collision avoidance. Intersection I was at, right turn lane did not stop, it was a pull out and yield. I came around the corner with no traffic coming in the direction I was merging into, and as I moved out into my lane, a Tesla coming the opposite direction tried to swerve itself off the road, thinking I was about to come into its lane.
Autopilot needs work. At the same time, Blind Spot Monitoring and Collision avoidance for all models could use work as well. But, the point to be made here is, while we have these things, we need people to be diligent and drive their cars, not have the cars drive them
