The Achilles heel to this whole process is still electricity/battery storage and a connection to the Internet. Without electricity or data connections, AI, robots, etc., cease to exist. Electricity is slowly becoming the next precious resource. Don’t worry, it’ll just take just one catastrophic AI process or the first life lost to an autonomous robot to create such heavy regulations or bureaucracy that it’ll be cheaper to hire a human to do the job instead of going through the bureaucratic process. Look at the FDA, it just took a few food poisoning incidents that now the FDA is so heavy regulated that a steak is $20.
