You know what is funny.
They think Junior Devs are expendable sponges. So they honestly see no risk in what they're doing.
If AI creates Technical Debt, they'll just force Junior Devs to "step up" and absorb everything as fast as possible. Senior devs who burned out will ask for more compensation before returning, which the MBA types won't accept since they'll just manipulate Juniors to work harder and learn faster.
It's all a game to disrupt whatever existing power dynamic used to exist for Developers/SWE. Same shit happened in other professions, so they created certifications/boards that protect them.
The snowball keeps building and everyone that hobestly believed AI would take over Jobs will be seen as an idiot. It's stackoverflow 2.0.
It helps devs go faster, but it can't replace them.
