Those who are scared of AI do not really understand it. It is a rebranded machine learning algorithm that has been here for decades. GenAI is the leap forward. But the current AI we have is light years away from that. All the tech companies are hyping this sht up to get ppl investing in it. It’s a new business model and as always, greedy execs will milk the cow. But if you understand the engineering behind it, this shit is overrated. It is a pattern recognition tool. GenAI is a dream.
