The comment that AI is the greatest threat to democracy, the good and bad of it, was very enlightening. That seems to be the greatest threat, that AI will be monopolized by unelected people and those people will dictate the whole of society. Google buying out those AI companies, pushing out certain people and completely changing its directive, is a good example of this.
Take the example of the internet. It doesn't BELONG to any one person and yet it became monopolized by a few people. I fear AI will be worse than this as it has to be developed and controlled by an entity.
