While it does use data for training if you have that setting on, it does not remember specific conversations. LLMs work by choosing the next best probable word in a sentence. So one person talking about workplace issues, it is highly unlikely that any prompt will trigger that sequence of words. If something like that does happen, that means there’s a lot of data from training in that parameter, making the probability more likely when prompted (as in it’s pulling from a large number of conversations). AI is quite cool, but it’s really nothing to be scared of (at least yet). It’s not as developed as people think and it’s actually quite stupid and limited to its parameters.
