this guy's point of view relies on this idea that most of us have a realistic shot at feeling useful and have a well-paying career that we actually enjoy and are fulilled at, along with a happy family life, etc. That is NOT the case for most of us, and so this stuff he sees as negative are all a positive for me. Be useful economically? Feel like we provide something of worth? We already dont have this stuff! So i would rather move on to the next phase instead. I would rather feel unneeded by A.I. than feel discarded and lied to by every human run company I've worked for.
I think Im on the accelerationist side.
