They are...and they do (in my STEM courses), BUT that comes down to us to create courses that teach them what AI can do, what it cannot do, and why they will stand out in a sea of people who only know how to use AI. It can make them stand out above the rest, if we can speed up their learning and comprehension. We need knowledge to think critically, this speeds up the knowledge. Now force people to use the information they know to solve problems.
