Sam Altman is dogmatic and dangerous in the sense of anyone with too much power. But he’s right that this is happening, and it’s either him or Musk or someone else who will drive it forward. Everyone who was going to do this was going to talk their book. And I much prefer him over Elon, who has become a deranged drug addled robot. He’s the only one who sounds human at this point. Karp, Musk, and the rest are batshit crazy and have convinced themselves everyone else buys their bullshit outside the dollar signs.
