for the second one?, no its not the same process, a great analogy is the chinese room experiment, basically the ai is only following a set of rules to make an aestethically pleasing artwork, to our eyes, but if the set of rules dosen't change, art will never change and stagnate instead. basically ai cant create new styles
edit: i think ai its a great tool tho, but thats what it is, a toll, not a replacement
