And unique appearances *can* be crafted by a generative AI. The output of AI isn't just a collage of different pieces roughly stitched together, it is more about using mathematical modelling to create images from scratch using tools that can be trained based on datasets. I mean, you can generate some faces with specific features, feed them through reverse image search in Google and there would be nobody with faces like that.
The AI outputs aren't reducible to _"Angelina Jolie lips plus Selena Gomez eyes, plus Arnold Schwarzenegger biceps"_ unless specifically demanded to be like that by the user writing the prompt and even then this image is painted from scratch, not assembled from pieces taken from different other images.
