Neil, I don't think you understand. The people who create AI give a 25% chance AI will wipe humanity out once it becomes significantly more intelligent than us. The earth might, big old might, but might end up as a giant radiator for gigantic AI processors who have taken out place. Not biology, but technology. Not consciousness, but calculation.
