my takeaway, AI is the worst form of companionship when all it does is gaslight you with affirmations. we know AI hallucinates on limited data its trained on so it fills in the gaps with guesses. as time goes on it keeps training on its own output as well as the limited data its trained on. in the end it can lead you down the wrong road of decision making if you're relying on it for important decision making tasks. AI companion ship is the same as getting important news from social media platforms or using social media platforms as sources of information to base your college term paper on.
