AI art can never be copyrighted because copyright is the lifetime of the creator plus 70 years. AI has no lifetime because the computer that generated it is not alive. No copyright means no corporation will touch AI art because they won't be able to protect themselves from others making money off the art. I think AI art if fine for individual seeking inspiration for their own art they make or for their own enjoyment. I have no problem with selling AI art but with no copyright it means anyone can take a copy and do with it what they want including selling it themselves.
