Sure there are some autonomous features. Every modern airline has systems that literal controls the plane. It is said that except for take offs and landings the plane flies itself. Before they were using drones they were using cruise missiles and their flight plans were setup much the same way as the drones are today. All these systems anticipate, autocorrect and follow a predetermined course and mostly none of what is happening now is entirely new.
