Some people might hate this, too, but…
AI is HUNGRY for energy. It is horrible for the environment. Apparently, a single query for Chat GPT requires enough energy to power a lightbulb for 20 MINUTES. Imagine how much energy is needed to power all the messages sent from everyone!
It also takes water. All those servers that are needed to power the AI are going to get very hot. So water is needed to cool down.
And just, why? Why AI? It’s literally artificial intelligence. It’s not real. The more you think about it, the more dystopian it sounds.
As a younger person, I hate that I have to grow up with this. I hope our future is better, even though it doesn’t look great the way things are going…
