not saying this is or isnt my case, but since I lost my job back in late december of 2025, I have quite literally applied to about 300+ jobs in my area. I've basically applied to every job available in my relatively small town. I've re-applied to jobs a handful of times, I've done everything I could to ensure that I would get a job (but I do have some limitations, like I cannot do hard manual labor). It didn't even occur to me that I could have been blacklisted from certain AI-forward services like workday, but it would make sense. I had a few instances where I went into a place, talked with a manager, was actually told I was getting the job because they need people right now and they would send me workday applications, and only after logging in and doing hours and hours of re-entering my resume stuff, do I just suddenly never get called back. Completely ghosted. I've applied to jobs that have a 100% hiring rate (like mcdonalds, other fast food places) and never get contacted back after using workday. In fact, the mcdonalds my roommate works at, literally hired so many people that they cannot have 85% of them come in because they over hired, and thats so they can have people on standby all the time. Still didn't get accepted. They would hire a criminal on deathrow to work there.
